Our Story
Hi, I am Kenzi! I live with my amazing husband and 4 awesome kiddos in Saratoga Springs, Utah. We are an active family and love to spend time outdoors. Our kids are 10, 9, 5, and 3, so we are definitely busy. My husband and I both work from home so we are able to be here with our kids and dogs. We love our little life here and are so glad that we get to share the joy of having Portuguese Water Dogs in our lives with others!
We originally got into raising puppies with our first dog, Cider, an adorable and smart Mini Schnauzer. We loved having puppies in our home and fell in love with the process of providing quality, well socialized pups to families and individuals.
When she passed on and we were ready for our next dog, we did extensive research, because we knew we wanted the smarts and hypoallergenic coat that we had found in mini Schnauzers, but we wanted a dog that was a medium size, athletic, and ready for adventures. We knew we wanted a dog that would be non aggressive and able to play with our kids. The more research we did the more we confirmed that Portuguese Water Dogs were the right choice for us. We brought home Samba, and she continues to reaffirm our choice every day by being the best dog in the world!
We love that we get to have these amazing dogs in our lives, and really love the process of raising puppies and finding them their forever homes. We are lucky enough to have amazing people and families inquire about our puppies and love watching them learn and grow in their new homes through the amazing tools of social media.
We say it all the time, but we would never again choose a dog that is not a Portuguese Water Dog!
